Business Development Manager

About the role

Fahari Link, powered by Tatu City, provides high‑speed internet and ICT services to residential and corporate customers in Kenya. As the Business Development Manager you will drive sales growth, build strategic partnerships and expand market reach for both broadband and advanced networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify growth areas, customer segments and emerging trends.
• Engage landlords, property managers and developers to secure building access for MDU construction.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align new opportunities with business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate targets.
• Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
• Negotiate contracts and sales agreements with clients and partners.
• Work with technical teams to design customized solutions for clients.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows and networking events.

Required profile

• 4+ years of proven experience in internet sales or related B2B sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, commerce or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of MPLS VPN technologies.
• Understanding of SD‑WAN solutions.
