Business Development Representative – Networking Solutions

About the role

Teltonika is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand its networking solutions portfolio across East Africa. Based in Nairobi, you will drive B2B sales of industrial routers, switches, gateways and modems to clients in Industry 4.0, Smart City and Green Energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in the East African region.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing customers through presentations, visits and regular communication.
• Prepare commercial offers, negotiate contracts and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging technical knowledge of IoT and networking solutions.
• Represent Teltonika at exhibitions and meetings abroad.
• Collaborate with technical support and product specialists to meet customer requirements.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts and updates to management.
• Generate leads via cold calling, email and LinkedIn outreach.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in IoT or networking solutions.
• Strong hunter mentality with a proactive approach to acquiring new business.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Organized, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
