Call Center Agent

About the role

Acorns BPO Africa, a leading debt recovery and BPO company, is seeking proactive individuals to join its call centre team. The role involves handling customer interactions, supporting sales marketing activities, and assisting with debt collection efforts where applicable.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls to provide customer service and support sales initiatives.
• Engage with clients to resolve queries, negotiate solutions, and facilitate debt recovery when required.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow established quality and security protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve performance targets and improve service efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in customer service and sales marketing.
• Strong communication abilities and a responsible, proactive attitude.
• Problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
• Tertiary education background.
• Basic computer literacy; training will be provided.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
