Car Wash Supervisor

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Car Wash Supervisor for its car wash business on Kamiti Road, Zimmerman. The post is full time and covers daily operations, staff supervision, customer service, cash handling and basic record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily car wash operations, coordinate workflow and make sure vehicles are serviced efficiently and released on time.
• Supervise and allocate duties to car wash attendants, monitoring attendance, punctuality, productivity and conduct.
• Keep the premises, equipment, work areas and customer areas clean, organised and well maintained.
• Welcome customers, understand their needs and ensure they receive efficient, satisfactory service.
• Inspect finished vehicles for cleaning standards and resolve customer questions and complaints.
• Receive and process payments by cash, mobile money or other approved methods, and keep daily records of sales, payments, expenses and other transactions.
• Reconcile daily collections and report cash discrepancies or financial concerns to management.
• Move customer vehicles safely within the premises and monitor the condition and use of equipment, tools and cleaning supplies.
• Report vehicle incidents, damaged equipment, low stock and maintenance needs to management.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in car wash operations, retail, hospitality, customer service or another customer-facing environment.
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive.
• Previous experience in cashiering, cash handling and basic record keeping.
