Carrier Sales – Wholesale Telecom Solutions

About the role

The Carrier Sales professional will drive the sale of data and capacity services to carrier clients across the Southern and Eastern Africa regions. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting daily sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, acquire RFP invitations and present competitive solutions.
• Lead bid processes from proposal to contract signing.
• Understand and promote network capabilities and wholesale telecom resale options.
• Sell capacity services such as submarine cables, IP Transit, DIA, IPLC, IEPL, cloud access and colocation, as well as mobility, IPX and A2P services.
• Identify new business opportunities and network with target clients.
• Handle commercial queries, pricing, and contract management with carrier partners.
• Travel periodically to meet clients and represent the company at industry conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the telecom industry, including at least 3 years in the sub‑Saharan African wholesale market.
• Strong teamwork, self‑motivation and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
