Cashew Extension & Aggregation Supervisor (Fixed-term)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced team leader with strong field experience to supervise our Cashew Extension and Aggregation team in Lamu, a brand‑new region for Tupande, and help build our footprint from scratch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of extension officers to achieve quality and quantity targets in buying centers.
• Facilitate training and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain daily records, reconcile data, update trackers and prepare reports.
• Enforce strict adherence to controls, policies and guidelines.
• Identify process improvements and develop growth strategies for extension and aggregation services.
• Set aggregation targets, collect accurate data and support decision‑making.
• Organise farmer engagement forums on agronomy, certification and quality improvement.
• Provide top‑notch client service and resolve farmer grievances promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Community Development or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in an agricultural‑related role, with a track record of planning field activities and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the cashew value chain (grades, quality, seasonality) is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate teams for harvesting and sourcing from smallholders.
• Passion for serving smallholder farmers and delivering on ambitious field targets.
• Proficiency in Google Office Suite.
