About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our team in Kisumu. The role involves preparing daily meals for our resident Chinese staff while ensuring high standards of hygiene and inventory control. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based at our Kisumu facility.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals each day, adhering to portion sizes and dietary requirements of Chinese staff.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen, cooking utensils and dining areas on a daily basis.
- Manage kitchen inventory, track supplies and prevent waste or unauthorized removal of items.
Required profile
- Open to candidates of any experience level; prior experience with Chinese cuisine or expatriate households is a plus.
- Excellent personal hygiene and a strong sense of integrity.
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills are required; basic cooking abilities and familiarity with kitchen hygiene practices are expected.
