Civil Construction Manager

About the role

The company is seeking a highly experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead all civil and structural works for the iconic Jabali Towers project. This senior site‑based role will drive the project from substructure through to final handover, ensuring safety, quality and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct all on‑site civil and structural construction activities, from earthworks and foundations to superstructure, façade and finishing works.
• Develop and implement detailed construction execution plans, monitor compliance with building and safety regulations, and manage subcontractors.
• Prepare and track project programmes, coordinate with MEP, architectural and infrastructure teams, and resolve on‑site clashes.
• Maintain accurate records of delays, variations and claims, and ensure adherence to Kenyan building codes and international best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree or professional chartership (CEng, P.Eng.) is advantageous.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive civil construction management experience on high‑rise (20+ storey) or large‑scale mixed‑use projects.
• Extensive background with major international main contractors and experience on giga‑scale projects.
• Demonstrated international project exposure in challenging environments.

Required skills

• Deep foundations and reinforced concrete structures.
• Formwork systems and modern construction methodologies.
• Project management software such as Primavera P6.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) implementation.
