About the role
A reliable and hardworking Cleaner is needed to keep the offices clean, tidy and welcoming, and to assist with refreshments for guests and staff. Applicants must live within Malindi or its immediate surroundings.
Key responsibilities
- Clean offices, workstations, meeting rooms, reception and shared spaces.
- Sweep, mop, dust and wipe furniture and surfaces.
- Keep washrooms and kitchen areas clean and hygienic.
- Welcome guests politely and direct them to the right person or waiting area.
- Serve water and refreshments as required.
- Prepare meeting rooms and tidy them after use.
- Wash utensils and organise kitchen supplies.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste properly and store cleaning materials safely.
- Report maintenance issues and shortages of cleaning or kitchen supplies.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and hygiene practices.
- Good communication skills and a polite, welcoming attitude.
- Honesty, punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete daily tasks.
- Attention to cleanliness and a willingness to learn.
- Resides within Malindi or its immediate surroundings.
