Client Services Call Center Assistant Intern

About the role

Cytonn Asset Managers Limited (CAML), a licensed Fund Manager and affiliate of Cytonn Investments Management Plc, is recruiting a Client Services Call Center Assistant Intern in Nairobi through its Young Leadership Program (CYLP). The internship lasts 12 weeks and covers client servicing and operations, with training focused on leadership, critical thinking, problem solving and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Handle client calls, queries and emails, identify ways to improve the customer experience and resolve complaints
• Understand KYC requirements and keep client records and contact details safe
• Assist in preparing internal and external client meetings and track their effectiveness
• Learn to administer the company databases accurately and record transactions such as contributions, withdrawals and corporate actions
• Maintain financial security and propose internal controls, and help automate processes and improve internal communication systems
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly management reports
• Work day and night shifts and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Minimum C Plain Grade in High School plus a diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Procurement, Systems Support or another related business course
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy and positive attitude, able to handle long hours with minimal supervision

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Ability to question processes and understand the actions requested
