Cloud Solutions Architect (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design, build and optimise cloud infrastructure for a global technology leader. The role is remote and offered on a contract basis, focusing on delivering secure, scalable and cost‑effective solutions on public cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and migration strategies.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of cloud‑native services and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives.
• Implement security, compliance and governance frameworks for cloud environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong background in infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of networking, security and compliance requirements.
• Ability to analyse performance metrics and optimise cloud costs.
