Cloud Solutions Architect (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and optimise cloud infrastructure for a global technology leader. This remote contract position offers the chance to work on business‑critical systems and influence cloud strategy across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise cloud environments on public platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Create and maintain architecture blueprints, migration plans and governance frameworks.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of cloud‑native services and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives.
• Implement security, compliance and cost‑management practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation.
• Strong background with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Solid understanding of networking, security and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
