Commercial Finance & Operations Executive

About the role

The Commercial Finance & Operations Executive will drive profitability and cash efficiency across NEXIQUE’s distribution channels. You will own pricing, cost modelling, trade terms, tax compliance and the end‑to‑cash cycle while ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain channel price lists, costing models and ROI analyses for trade promotions and new SKUs.
• Manage trade terms, credit limits and rebate structures in ERP, and run credit control.
• Own accounts receivable and payable, monitor debtor days, and prepare cash‑position reports.
• Prepare and file Kenyan statutory taxes (VAT, PAYE, withholding, corporate tax) and ensure eTIMS compliance.
• Oversee order‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay processes, stock reconciliation and production planning.
• Produce monthly management accounts, annual financial statements (IFRS/SMEs) and coordinate external audits.
• Act as ERP owner (ERPNext), configure chart of accounts, price lists and tax templates, and train users.

Required profile

• Professional finance qualification (CPA K, ACCA) – fully qualified or final stage.
• Minimum 4 years experience in finance/commercial operations, at least 2 years in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (ERPNext, SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage X3).
• Proven track record filing Kenyan taxes via iTax and handling eTIMS.
