Communications Support Officer

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Communications Support Officer to create and manage multimedia content that highlights the impact of its programmes. The role will be based in Nairobi, working closely with field teams in Sudan to ensure timely and branded communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design visual materials for digital and print, including social media graphics, infographics, situation report visuals, donor updates, and campaign materials.
• Edit photos and video footage from the field into short‑form content for social media, websites, and donor reporting, applying World Vision branding guidelines consistently.
• Synchronise photos, videos and written content from field communications staff across Sudan response locations, maintain a structured digital asset library and track submissions against a content calendar.
• Support scheduling and posting of approved content across World Vision Sudan’s digital and social media channels, and respond to ad‑hoc requests from the Communications Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and Digital Communications, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia production or digital content management, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian environment.
• Experience managing digital asset libraries or working with remote field teams is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
• Ability to use Canva or equivalent design/video editing tools.
