Community Support Professional – Developmental Disabilities

About the role

Springbrook is seeking a compassionate Community Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities across educational, residential, and community settings. You will promote independence, ensure safety, and help participants achieve personal goals while providing daily living support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a role model and advocate for each person you support.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care such as showering and toileting.
• Encourage participation in community, recreational, spiritual, and family activities.
• Follow individualized plans, collect required data, and complete billing documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in homes, community sites, and vehicles.
• Attend team meetings, 1:1 supervision sessions, and any additional assigned duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (associate’s degree preferred).
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work mandatory overtime and be reassigned as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Springbrook vehicle requirements.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads.
