Construction Project Manager – Eldoret

About the role

CCMS Consult is looking for a Construction Project Manager to lead the set‑up and ongoing operations of its new office in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. The role involves managing construction projects from concept through to close‑out while ensuring client expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from inception to close‑out.
• Prepare detailed client briefs and document objectives.
• Define scope and develop execution plans aligned with the RIBA Plan of Work.
• Monitor timelines, budget and scope, reporting weekly and monthly to management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, escalating when necessary.
• Chair project meetings, record minutes and manage day‑to‑day operations.
• Liaise with development control authorities to secure permits and licences.
• Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment and materials.
• Ensure contractor compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with local contractors, suppliers and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying or civil engineering.
• Minimum 3 years post‑graduate experience in client‑side project management and reporting.
• Proven ability to work independently on multiple projects.
• Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills.
• Interest in sustainable design and green building practices.
