COP Certified Insurance Sales Representative

About the role

The Insurance Sales Representative will work on‑site in Nairobi, engaging both prospective and existing clients to promote ICEA LION’s insurance solutions. The role focuses on delivering tailored advice, building lasting relationships, and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell a range of insurance products to individuals and businesses.
• Analyse client needs and design appropriate risk‑management solutions.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Achieve personal and team sales targets on a monthly basis.
• Provide ongoing customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of insurance sales, contract negotiation and sales strategy.
• Excellent communication and client‑relationship management abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Preferably holds a COP (Certificate of Proficiency) in insurance.
• Previous experience in a regulated sector such as law enforcement is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance or a related field is preferred.
