Country Sales Manager – Kenya

About the role

GoodWe is seeking a dynamic Country Sales Manager to lead its solar PV business in Kenya. The role combines market development, customer relationship management and technical solutioning to drive growth of GoodWe’s inverter, battery and energy‑management portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and acquire new customers across distributors, EPC contractors, developers and large‑scale project owners while nurturing existing accounts.
• Conduct regular on‑site visits, co‑create business and product strategies with clients, and translate market needs into technical solutions.
• Coordinate technical activities, leveraging deep product knowledge to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor solar PV market trends, competitor actions and customer feedback to shape responsive sales strategies.
• Represent GoodWe at industry events, conferences and exhibitions to raise brand visibility and forge new partnerships.
• Implement channel policies, mediate partner conflicts and drive continuous improvement within the sales organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven solar product sales experience in the PV industry.
• Strong business development and negotiation abilities, with a track record in international markets.
• Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proactive, results‑oriented team player with the ability to thrive in a volatile market.

Required skills

• Solar PV product knowledge (inverters, batteries, energy‑management systems).
• Fundamental understanding of electrical engineering concepts.
