Credit Controller – FMCG Manufacturing

About the role

Kaziweza Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team in Thika. You will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, managing customer accounts, and supporting cash‑flow optimisation across the FMCG manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities

• Collect overdue payments and recover debts from a large customer base.
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts, issue statements and manage ageing reports.
• Analyse debtor ageing, prepare collection reports and monitor cash‑flow impact.
• Resolve customer disputes, answer queries and coordinate with sales, logistics and customer service.
• Oversee the order‑to‑cash process, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely receipt of funds.
• Utilise SAP for account management, reporting and data extraction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and solid analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
