Customer Service Representative – Appointment Scheduling

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for patients, handling high‑volume appointment scheduling and related inquiries in a fast‑paced radiology environment. You will work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments following established protocols.
• Verify insurance information and input data accurately into the scheduling system.
• Handle inbound calls, provide courteous service, and route calls to appropriate departments.
• Resolve patient questions directly or escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent typing ability and friendly telephone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, high‑productivity environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
