Customer Service Representative

About the role

La Cumbre is looking for a friendly, professional Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for clients and patients at our veterinary hospital. You will greet visitors, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide pet‑care information while ensuring smooth client flow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer management.
• Greet clients and patients, answer incoming calls, and schedule appointments.
• Prepare and maintain patient records, consent forms, and certificates.
• Provide client education on examinations, nutrition, vaccinations, parasite control, and post‑operative care.
• Invoice clients, process payments, and balance the cash drawer at day‑end.
• Dispense medications, pet food, and supplies with appropriate instructions.
• Update computer records, maintain backups, and manage client/patient files.
• Notify doctors and technicians of patient arrivals and assist with admissions and discharges.
• Handle over‑the‑counter sales, petty cash, and mail routing.
• Maintain a clean reception area and perform light cleaning as needed.

Required profile

• Friendly, courteous, and detail‑oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working under pressure and handling frequent interruptions.
• Enjoys working with people and animals.
• Possesses solid computer and office skills and prior experience in a similar role.
