Customer Service Representative

About the role

Cigna is expanding its Global Service Centre in Nairobi and is looking for a Customer Service Representative to support clients worldwide. You will be the first point of contact for policy holders, brokers and other stakeholders, handling inquiries via phone and email.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to client inquiries about eligibility, card status, policy benefits, claims, and certificates of insurance.
• Handle simple and complex questions, research policy provisions, and provide accurate information in a single interaction.
• Process claim forms and supporting documentation, routing them to the appropriate units.
• Maintain high-quality service in a 24 × 7 rotation, including split shifts and public holidays.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.
• 1+ years of customer‑service experience, preferably in a call‑center environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
