Customer Service Representative – Scheduling & Patient Support

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling high‑volume appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and general inquiries. This full‑time position operates in a fast‑paced radiology environment, requiring accuracy, professionalism, and strong multitasking abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments following established protocols.
• Obtain, verify, and accurately input patient information into the scheduling system.
• Conduct insurance verification and resolve related issues.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to patients and staff.
• Answer and route high‑volume phone calls, escalating complex inquiries as needed.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent typing speed and friendly telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
