Customer Services Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Customer Services Manager to support a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance with Amentum and US Navy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer requests, providing accurate information and status updates.
• Manage inquiries from walk‑ins, phone, fax, or email while maintaining professionalism.
• Investigate and resolve complaints efficiently to achieve high satisfaction.
• Maintain records of interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
• Develop and uphold customer service standards aligned with Amentum and US Navy requirements.
• Act as primary point of contact for customer relations and coordinate communication with relevant departments.
• Train, support, and mentor staff in customer service procedures and best practices.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to enhance operations.
• Document and maintain service policies to ensure consistency and compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in customer service supervision or related managerial role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with relevant software tools for communication and documentation.
• Valid passport with at least one year validity and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.
