Data Visualization Specialist (Part-Time)

About the role

This part‑time position supports a globally distributed, mission‑driven team by turning complex data sets into clear, actionable visual insights. Based in Kenya and working fully remotely, you will help product leaders understand user behavior and drive commercial decisions across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive dashboards and visualisations using Google Data Studio or similar tools.
• Ensure data accuracy by identifying and fixing inconsistencies in datasets and reporting pipelines.
• Collaborate with product leadership to create executive‑level dashboards for roadmap and strategy planning.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of product performance, funnel and churn metrics across regions.
• Translate analytical findings into story‑driven insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Help define product metrics and establish a consistent measurement framework.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data analysis, data visualisation, or a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large data sets.
• Hands‑on experience with dashboarding tools such as Google Data Studio.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting and data modelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in remote, cross‑functional teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field is preferred.
