DDE Project Manager

About the role

The Local DDE Product Owner will lead the end‑to‑end deployment of the Distributor Data Exchange (DDE) solution in Kenya and will own the product operationally after go‑live. The role focuses on ensuring distributor adoption of DMS/ERP and Field App solutions, high‑quality data collection, and continuous improvement based on user feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate Kenya’s DDE rollout, aligning scope, timelines and readiness across KWAL, distributors and regional teams.
• Onboard distributors, assess readiness, and deliver training on back‑office and field sales tools.
• Configure systems, prepare data, conduct user‑acceptance testing and manage go‑live execution.
• Provide hyper‑care support post‑launch to stabilise the system and drive user adoption.
• Monitor daily data flows (sales, stock, coverage, routes) and resolve data quality issues.
• Act as the Kenya DDE super‑user, offering ongoing support, refresher training and coordinating minor enhancements with vendors.
• Validate dashboards and embed DDE insights into commercial routines such as coverage management and forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading deployment projects for data‑exchange or ERP solutions.
• Strong ability to train and support distributor teams and field sales users.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring data quality and generating actionable insights.
• Effective stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
