About the role

The Debt Collection Call Center Team Lead will oversee daily operations of the call centre, ensuring compliance, efficiency and achievement of collection targets. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Nairobi and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

  • Organise and coordinate work tasks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor, train and support staff on call centre tools and the company ERP system.
  • Allocate portfolios, distribute daily tasks and conduct performance reviews for debt collection agents.
  • Engage customers, advise on repayment solutions and maintain accurate customer data.

Required profile

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in debt collection, customer support or call centre operations, preferably within a financial institution.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili with strong communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with call centre tools.
  • Experience using ERP systems for debt recovery processes.
