Delivery Driver – Mombasa

About the role

Our client, a food manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, distributors and retail outlets in the Mombasa area.

Key responsibilities

• Operate company delivery vehicles safely and according to assigned schedules.
• Load, unload and verify goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Complete delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures and return paperwork promptly.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or incidents.
• Plan efficient routes, maintain mileage and fuel logs, and adhere to traffic laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition at all times.
• Assist warehouse staff with stock verification and movement when needed.
• Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.

Required profile

• KCSE average of D+ or higher.
• Valid Class C1 driver’s licence and any other required licences.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a delivery driver in a busy manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of local road networks.
• Age between 30 and 45 years.
