Deployed A&P Technician

About the role

TSC's Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance (AISR) Division is seeking a highly skilled Deployed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician. The role supports Beechcraft King B200 and B300 series aircraft equipped for Maritime Domain Awareness missions, with a focus on aircraft maintenance during 90‑day overseas rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑flight and post‑flight inspections to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, Phase Maintenance Inspections, and detailed record‑keeping in line with FAA regulations and OEM guidelines.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and mission systems, including Garmin G1000/G600, radar, EO/IR sensors, and SATCOM equipment.
• Use specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators for complex electronic issues.
• Collaborate with pilots, crew chiefs, and mission operators to align aircraft performance with mission objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and training to fellow maintenance personnel and support non‑aviation tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
• Minimum three years of experience maintaining King Air aircraft in deployed environments.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities, capable of operating independently in austere settings.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Valid US passport and ability to travel for assignments up to three months.
• Excellent English communication skills.
