Deployment Officer – Single Data Entry (SDE) Program

About the role

The Deployment Officer will support Médecins Sans Frontières' Single Data Entry (SDE) programme in Kenya. The role involves coordinating the deployment of staff, ensuring compliance with MSF safeguarding policies, and managing medium‑risk contact with patients and children.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment logistics for SDE staff, including travel, accommodation and on‑site arrangements.
• Maintain accurate deployment records and update the programme database.
• Ensure all deployments adhere to MSF safeguarding, SEAH and risk‑assessment procedures.
• Liaise with programme managers and field teams to align staffing needs with operational priorities.
• Support onboarding, training and orientation of newly deployed personnel.
• Monitor and report on deployment‑related risks and incidents.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safeguarding patients, staff and community members.
• Ability to work in a diverse, high‑pressure humanitarian environment.
• Understanding of humanitarian principles and MSF's code of conduct.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to undergo rigorous vetting processes.
