Design & Publication Consultant for HPV Technical Guidelines

About the role

Girl Effect is seeking a creative design agency or independent consultant to lead the visual design, layout, and production preparation of a suite of HPV technical guidelines and related summary documents. The work will transform highly technical content into engaging, user‑friendly publications for both print and digital distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and format nine HPV technical guideline documents into professionally structured publications.
• Develop a consistent visual identity across the entire guideline suite, adhering to Girl Effect’s brand and accessibility standards.
• Create infographics, diagrams, and visual storytelling elements that simplify complex SBC and immunisation concepts.
• Prepare final files for print and digital release, ensuring production‑ready quality.
• Collaborate with Girl Effect’s content team to incorporate feedback and maintain technical accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing health‑related publications or technical guidebooks.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to produce visually engaging, accessible documents.
• Familiarity with international health communication standards and branding guidelines.

Required skills

• Advanced visual design and layout expertise.
• Proficiency with professional design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Ability to create clear infographics and data visualisations.
