DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation (India/Singapore)

About the role

This position is open for candidates in India or Singapore and focuses on designing, automating, and supporting DevOps and cloud engineering capabilities for a regulated banking environment. You will help accelerate release cycles while ensuring reliability, security, and observability across the full CI/CD pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Implement automated testing platforms, unit tests and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Git.
• Maintain code versioning with Git, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps.
• Integrate security scanning tools like SonarQube, Aqua and Nexus Lifecycle.
• Develop and manage containerised workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible, Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Support relational and non‑relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Design cloud‑native micro‑services using Python, Node.js and related frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of three‑tier and micro‑service architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with public, private or hybrid cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Background in development, testing, support or engineering, with a focus on automation.
• Ability to work in a regulated banking environment and follow security best practices.
