DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our client, a technology solutions provider building customer experience software platforms, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge development and operations. You will design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to enable faster, safer software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Provision, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Containerize applications and manage orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance with Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, or CloudWatch and set up alerting.
• Implement security best practices, including SAST/DAST, container vulnerability scanning, and secrets management.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident root‑cause analysis, and disaster‑recovery processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work independently and take ownership of production stability.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• Cloud platforms: AWS (experience with Azure or GCP a plus).
• IaC: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting: Python, Bash/Shell.
• Linux system administration.
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch.
• Security tools: SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Trivy, Aqua, HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager.
• Version control: Git.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
