Digital and Directorate AI Developer

About the role

The Digital and Directorate AI Developer will design, build, and maintain AI/ML solutions that support various business functions such as finance, actuarial, risk, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support data ingestion, transformation, and quality checks to produce reliable, ML‑ready datasets.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for use cases like claims risk, lapse prediction, and fraud detection.
• Convert models into APIs and assist with integration into business systems.
• Monitor deployed model performance and support recalibration as needed.
• Contribute to dashboards (Power BI or similar) visualising AI/ML outputs for stakeholders.
• Build automation for recurring reporting and manual workflows.
• Apply data security, privacy, and ethical AI standards across development work.
• Maintain technical documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in API development.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues and write clean, maintainable code.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Machine learning and statistical modelling techniques.

• Power BI (or similar) dashboarding.
• Knowledge of LangGraph and LangChain (advantage).
