Digital Marketing Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Account Manager to join an Australian travel and tourism agency through Talent Match Africa in Nairobi. The role combines client management with hands‑on execution of paid media, content creation and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships.
• Plan, launch and optimise Meta and Google Ads campaigns.
• Write ad copy, craft email campaigns and produce social media content.
• Design and edit marketing assets using Canva.
• Support email marketing, organic social updates and website maintenance.
• Monitor performance metrics, generate client reports and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align strategy.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to streamline content and workflow.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, account management or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads platforms.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
• Proficiency with Canva for asset design.
• Ability to interpret data, report on campaign performance and optimise accordingly.
• Comfortable using AI tools in daily marketing tasks.
• Organised, able to juggle multiple priorities in an agency environment.
