Digital Marketing Executive

About the role

Town Team, a fast‑growing smart casual wear retailer in Kenya, is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to boost its online presence, grow its community, and support marketing campaigns for both the main brand and the Mini Town Team kids' line.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Manage day‑to‑day community engagement, responding to comments, DMs and building audience relationships.
• Track and report on content performance, using insights to optimise posting schedules.
• Design and produce print‑ready artwork for in‑store signage, posters and promotional materials.
• Support store‑level marketing activations, launches and events across all branches.
• Handle client enquiries and follow up e‑commerce orders via phone.
• Leverage AI tools for content ideation, copywriting, image/video editing and campaign reporting.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing, preferably in retail, fashion or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook performance drivers.
• Comfortable with content calendars, scheduling tools and basic analytics.
• Hands‑on experience with AI marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Fashn AI, Gamma).
• Sharp visual eye and ability to maintain brand consistency.
• Graphic design proficiency for print‑ready deliverables.
• Excellent written communication and a natural feel for brand voice.
• Proactive, organised self‑starter able to juggle multiple campaigns.
• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or related field; Google Digital Marketing Certification is a plus.
