Digital Marketing Intern

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Digital Marketing Intern based in Nairobi CBD. The role covers social media content creation, community engagement, campaign support and basic digital marketing administration.

Key responsibilities

• Create social media graphics and marketing materials in Canva and develop captions, images, short videos and promotional posts.
• Plan, schedule and publish content according to the content calendar, and monitor and respond to comments and messages professionally.
• Engage with followers and online communities to grow audience interaction and brand visibility.
• Track social media performance with platform analytics and prepare regular reports.
• Monitor trends, competitor activity and emerging digital marketing opportunities.
• Support digital marketing campaigns, and help create email content, blogs and website updates where needed.
• Work with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and brand initiatives, keeping branding consistent across platforms.
• Help with day-to-day digital marketing and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Certificate in Digital Marketing or a related field.
• At least six months of experience in digital marketing, social media management or content creation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, a creative mindset with attention to detail, and good organisational and time management skills.

Required skills

• Canva proficiency for social media content.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media analytics.
