Direct Sales Representative – Malindi

About the role

Premier Bank is seeking energetic Direct Sales Representatives to expand its footprint in Malindi. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, re‑activating dormant accounts, and promoting the bank’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Actively sell and cross‑sell banking products and services to new and existing clients.
• Persuade prospects to open accounts and follow up on dormant or unfunded accounts.
• Maintain and update the customer sales database, ensuring timely follow‑up on referrals.
• Conduct market research during field assignments and report insights to sales managers.
• Support marketing activations and campaigns for new product launches.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and track the sales pipeline.
• Deliver presentations to potential customers highlighting the benefits of Premier Bank accounts.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Public Relations is preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant sales experience with a proven results‑oriented track record.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge of banking products, KYC and account‑opening requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Effective use of Internet and email for communication and research.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and reporting abilities.
