Director of Lean Construction

About the role

PC Construction seeks a Director of Lean Construction to lead enterprise‑wide Lean initiatives across all regions and projects. The role partners with project teams, operational leaders, and stakeholders to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve project outcomes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Lean construction strategies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead continuous‑improvement programs that boost productivity, quality, safety, and delivery performance.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, pull planning, and problem‑solving workshops.
• Partner with project teams to identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and optimize workflow.
• Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to emerging Lean champions.
• Conduct site visits to assess opportunities, guide implementation, and support operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven success implementing Lean construction methodologies and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Strong understanding of construction operations, project delivery processes, and workflow optimization.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing change across multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Lean Construction Institute Certification (LCI‑CPC) – preferred.
• Expertise in Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, pull planning, and problem‑solving workshops.
