Director of Sales

About the role

The Director of Sales will drive strategic growth for Turner Mining Group by building relationships across the mining industry and positioning the company’s capabilities with key decision makers. This senior role oversees pipeline development, opportunity strategy, technical sales support, and the pursuit and closure of multi‑year contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a strong pipeline aligned to strategic targets.
• Develop relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders in the mining and earth‑moving sectors.
• Identify, prioritize, and advance high‑potential opportunities and represent the company at industry events.
• Lead sales strategy for active pursuits, define positioning, differentiation, and competitive approach.
• Guide application engineering with clear customer insights and ensure technical efforts align with customer needs.
• Coordinate proposals, estimating, and strategy execution while maintaining engagement with decision makers.
• Achieve sales objectives and revenue targets, maintaining a high‑quality pipeline and win rates.
• Own overall opportunity strategy and direction without performing detailed technical work or final contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales leadership within the mining or earth‑moving industry.
• Ability to develop and manage pipelines and cultivate senior‑level relationships.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to define win strategies.
