Electrical Design Engineer (AVEEVA)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop, check, and coordinate electrical design deliverables for industrial and manufacturing facility projects using AVEVA E3D.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D electrical models, elevation cuts, and extract drawings with AVEVA E3D.
• Prepare 2D electrical drawings in AutoCAD from model extracts and project standards.
• Design layouts for equipment, raceways, cable routing, junction boxes, lighting, grounding, control rooms, single‑line diagrams, and motor control schematics.
• Use Navisworks and E3D to review models, identify interferences, and support interdisciplinary coordination.
• Support drawing checks, redline incorporation, field walkdowns, construction queries, and as‑built updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive electrical design experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or power facilities.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate across disciplines, and deliver accurate, constructible documentation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with AVEVA E3D for electrical design and model coordination.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 and the National Electrical Code.
• Experience designing junction boxes, sizing cables, and producing lighting, grounding, and control room plans.
