Embedded HW/SW Engineer – Avionics

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded HW/SW Engineer to join our avionics development team. The role involves designing, developing and validating embedded systems that meet strict aeronautical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop firmware for embedded platforms using C.
• Design and prototype digital control boards.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics for hardware/software integration.
• Perform verification and validation activities on avionics systems.
• Prepare technical documentation in accordance with aeronautical standards.
• Collaborate with design and certification teams throughout the development cycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunications or related engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electronics and ability to read schematics.
• Experience in safety‑critical verification and validation processes.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel periodically in Italy and abroad.
• Experience in avionics or aerospace is a plus.

• Familiarity with DO‑178 and DO‑254 standards.
