Emergency Veterinarian (24/7 Hospital)

About the role

Join a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art emergency veterinary hospital in Osborne Park, Perth. As an Emergency Veterinarian you will provide round‑the‑clock care for trauma, acute medical, critical care and surgical emergencies, working alongside experienced ECC colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat trauma and critical care cases in a fast‑paced 24/7 environment.
• Perform emergency surgeries and manage complex medical emergencies.
• Utilise advanced imaging and diagnostics, including CT, to guide treatment.
• Collaborate with senior ECC veterinarians and nursing staff on challenging cases.
• Contribute to the development of hospital protocols and team culture.

Required profile

• Veterinarian registration and eligibility to practice in Australia.
• Calm under pressure with a passion for patient outcomes.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as part of a 24/7 service.
• Collaborative mindset and curiosity to develop emergency skills.
• ECC experience is a plus, but motivated general practitioners are welcome.

Required skills

• CT imaging interpretation.
• Advanced diagnostic techniques (e.g., ultrasound, radiography).
• Emergency surgical procedures.
