Employee Relations Specialist I

About the role

The Employee Relations Specialist I will support a positive workplace environment by managing employee communications, engagement programs, and resolving relations issues. This role serves as the primary HR contact for assigned business units.

Key responsibilities

• Coach managers and employees through performance management and conduct training sessions to improve people skills.
• Investigate and mediate employee or supervisor complaints, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Prepare HR dashboards and metrics (attrition, headcount, engagement) and conduct trend analyses for strategic decisions.
• Partner with Learning & Development to coordinate training and support wellness initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 2‑5 years of HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRIS systems.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
