About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to drive the development of high‑performance API platforms that power cutting‑edge fraud prevention technologies. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership with people management in a fully remote, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers responsible for developing and scaling core API services and platform infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and cloud‑native development practices.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver robust API‑first solutions.
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews, coaching, technical guidance, and continuous learning initiatives.
• Drive agile development processes and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality, scalable software products.
• Support team growth through performance management, career development, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, accountability, and operational excellence while continuously improving engineering processes and workflows.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience managing software engineering teams in agile environments.
• 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or cloud‑based platforms.
• Proven track record of leading teams that deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
• Experience in fast‑paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic, growth‑oriented problem‑solving mindset.
