About the role
Stepping Stones Preparatory School is seeking a qualified English and Pre‑Technical Studies teacher to join its faculty on a full‑time, on‑site basis in Thika. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and supporting the overall development of learners in grades 4‑9.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in English and pre‑technical subjects.
- Track and report on students’ academic progress.
- Support students’ social and educational development through a learner‑centred approach.
Required profile
- Valid Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration certificate.
- Diploma in Education (or higher).
- Minimum two years of teaching experience with grades 4–9.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Commitment to a learner‑centred teaching methodology.
