Equipment Operator Foreman (Tier 2)

About the role

Fluor is seeking an Equipment Operator Foreman (Tier 2) to lead a team of equipment operators on construction projects at Manda Bay. The role combines supervisory duties with hands‑on equipment operation as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and allocate a team of equipment operators based on project priorities.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and safe operation of light, medium, and heavy equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project personnel, and team members.
• Perform administrative tasks and support subordinate personnel.

Required profile

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4‑7 years of related equipment operation experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.

Required skills

• Operation of single‑axle and dual‑axle dump trucks (automatic and manual).
• Use of loaders, rollers, compactors, tractors, sprayers, sweepers, plows, forklifts, backhoes, and related equipment.
• Perform minor emergency repairs and report major mechanical issues.
