About the role
World Animal Protection is seeking an Evaluation & Learning Advisor to strengthen the use of evidence, insight and learning across the organisation. You will work with teams, portfolios and external partners to ensure evaluation informs decision‑making and improves organisational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning and coordination of evaluation and learning activities across priorities and work areas.
- Gather, analyse and assess evidence from projects, programmes, grants and partner‑delivered activities.
- Define learning questions, clarify evaluation needs and support evaluation processes with colleagues.
- Produce clear evaluation and learning outputs that inform decision‑making and delivery improvement.
- Assess evidence quality, identify gaps or inconsistencies and integrate evaluation with reporting and portfolio processes.
Required profile
- Experience supporting evaluation, organisational learning, impact assessment or research in a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage and assess evidence for learning and decision‑making.
- Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple work areas.
- Good understanding of question framing, evidence gathering, synthesis and learning outputs.
- Strong organisational skills and sound judgement to identify issues, gaps and improvement opportunities.
Required skills
- Experience using planning, reporting or workflow tools to organise evidence and support evaluation processes.
