Event Planning & Management Specialist

About the role

Trueblaq is seeking a full‑time Event Planning and Management professional to join its Nairobi office. You will be responsible for designing, coordinating and delivering memorable events that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to capture event requirements and objectives.
• Oversee all event logistics, from venue selection to on‑site execution.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Manage event budgets, timelines and resources effectively.
• Ensure each event aligns with the client’s brand and quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in event planning and management with a track record of successful events.
• Proficiency in project management and the ability to handle budgets, schedules and resources.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of event technology, tools and platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in event‑focused roles is strongly desirable.
