Excel Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an Excel Analyst to work remotely on a contract basis for a leading global information services company. The analyst will use Microsoft Excel to clean, transform, and visualise data, supporting business decisions with clear insights.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources into structured Excel reports.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Build pivot tables, charts, and interactive dashboards to present key metrics.
• Analyse trends and generate actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, charts, and dashboards.
• Data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
